EVENING STANDARD CASE STUDY
In April 2007 Field Interiors were delighted to be invited to supply the office furniture for the Evening Standard, part of the Associated Newspaper Group based in Kensington.
Following consultations with the client, Field Interiors were able to identify and satisfy the individual requirements for the project, a cost effective solution that was able to withstand the demands of a contemporary media organisation - double wave fronted desks, ergonomic task seating and a range of modular and flexible storage.
A total of 440 workstations, finished in Maple and Silver to co-ordinate with the Groups corporate identity were provided.
Critical to the success of the project was the timing and scheduling, co-ordinated to fit in with the 24/7 working activities of a national newspaper. A detailed project plan with key milestones was developed and Field Interiors were able to assemble furniture on site in designated quiet areas to avoid disruption to the key journalists and staff.
The project was delivered on time and within budget, overseen by Field Interiors Project Manager, Jordan Herd.
